25-OH-D3 blood analysis and interpretation made easy
Verax™ DBS Analytics is an all-in-one service, developed to make users' lives easier. Quick and practical, it allows to assess the blood vitamin D3 status of pigs (chickens and ruminants are in development). This status being a biomarker of immunity, muscle tone and bone health. Verax™ DBS Analytics is based on a simple method of collecting a single drop of blood on a special blotting paper: the DBS card. The collected sample is then simply sent by post to the reference laboratory. The traceability system based on a QR code associated with each card allows, once the result has been obtained, to communicate it directly to the user via a dedicated online application. The Verax™ DBS analytics service is therefore an all-inclusive offer, from the sampling equipment to the interpretation of the measurement of the vitamin D status of the animals.
